Contrary to a commonly held belief, calligraphy is surprisingly inexpensive to commission. Prices start at just 40p a word for the simplest writing and for

a few pence more one may order additional flourishes such as 'swash' capitals or other decorative extras.

There are numerous options available in terms of complexity of style, gilding, colour, illumination or heraldic devices.

 

Whatever you have in mind you will certainly find it helpful to discuss your project with me. We will both gain a better understanding of what is involved and you should be able to obtain an idea of what the final cost is likely to be.

 

I enjoy talking to my customers because I believe that the process of ordering should never become a barrier to your creativity or mine.
